The glorious civilization and natural heritage of Chaoyang region with a long history is taken as the topic, the local conditions and customs and regional characteristics of a lush and vast Chaoyang is concentratedly embodied. The background wall reflects some significant archaeological discoveries and survey at Niuheliang Relics, the center of ancient Hongshan culture.
“Prose poem on Chaoyang” is carved on the right side of stone wall, and the duplications of fossils of ancient extinct lives excavated in the region are displayed on the minor wall.
A scenic brook traverses the garden area, and the skills of garden construction, such as horticultural plantation, waterfall and arrangement of stones, are concentratedly shown.
The subject sculpture, jade pig partly in the shape of dragon, is at the center of garden area. A paragraph of words from The Book of Songs is engraved on the huge stone at one side: The phoenix gives out its notes on the lofty ridge, Chinese parasol tree grows under the rising sun and the notes resound harmoniously.
