The building and excavated artifact of the Qin Dynasty are taken as the main elements, the ancient charm of profound human style of Qin is embodied with formal garden construction method, it has experienced many changes in life, and it is of immense sweep.
The square pavilion shades the round pool at the center, waterfall flies from the cylindrical terrace behind the pavilion, the brook is gathered into the pool, the motion and stillness are fair, its imposing manner matches its beauty very well, and it embraces the traditional idea of Chinese culture with a distant source and long stream, view of universe and oneness of man and nature.
Horizontal boards are inscribed on four sides of the pavilion, including content of “national unity”, so as to highlight the important contribution made by Qin to Chinese history. There are pine and cypress around the garden with group of arbor, shrub, flower and grass, and green rhyme is formed with perfect folding and spacing. The entire garden is harmonious with loop extending in all directions, and it signifies the bright prospect of Xi’an as a well-grounded old city.
