The garden embodies the characteristics of historic building of Hui School and the landscape with cultural connotation of Hefei as the elements for garden construction, it displays the beautiful natural landscape of Anhui and the solid cultural foundation of Hefei as the home of chief minister Bao Zheng.
Scenic spots in the garden include entrance square, Lianquan Pavilion, water fall at rockery, Xiaosu Bridge, and so on, combined with natural topography, garden path and stone step penetrate it with transitional greening and waters in the middle, two brooks symbolize Shishui River and Feihe River in overall layout, the tour line is a loop, it is the miniature of Round-the-city Park, a famous scenic spot of Hefei. The exquisite skill of garden construction of Hui School is displayed by the bluestone wall sculpture, scenic wall of Hui School, ornamental inner gate at entrance square, and various wood carving and stone carving on horizontal inscribed board.
