The oriental cherry has been cultivated in Japan for over a thousand years. The flower symbolizes purity and nobleness. With short flowering phase and beautiful falling flowers, the oriental cherry truthfully reflects the aesthetic outlook of mononoaware of the Yamato and therefore it is honored as the national flower of Japan.
The Oriental Cherry Garden covers an area of 3.9 hectares and cultivates over 1000 prunus sargentii, Japanese cherry and black cherry.
The garden adopts architectures of the Japanese style and serves as a specialized garden which provides an ideal place for rest and appreciation.
Passing the ancient Japanese style garden gate, you can travel in the half veranda and wooden pavilion; or walk by the lake and stream; or cross the little bridge; or have a rest in the Japanese style tea house… garden is unique, exquisite, peaceful full of rich exotic styles.
